They say you don't inherit the world from your parents, you borrow it from your offspring.
Many seasons ago, the Clans were forced to rebuild, after deadly sickness left precious few members of each alliance. They bred, and then split from the other cats they used to call Clanmates. They were Wind, River, Shadow and ThunderClans, but now, their kits' bloodlines so diluted, they formed new Clans. BreezeClan, SomberClan, TideClan, and StormClan.
But where could the new Clans go? Many moons of rain it would take to wash the sickness from their current habitat, and the revolting stench had brought foxes and badgers to prey on the cats and what was left for the cats to eat themselves.
But StarClan, who remained as it was before and after the changes, granted the four revived Clans an oasis. The territories, it seemed that they were the hunting grounds of StarClan themselves, with infinite prey - at least for Greenleaf. The hardships were not gone, no. The struggles of leafbare, quarrels, and sickness, though more mild than the previous bout, were casualties these cats were used to, and were able to overcome as the moon waxed and waned. StarClan said they would do whatever was within the limits of their powers to make life easier for these hard-done-by cats, should they work for it.
And new generations came. They were each told what StarClan had said - if they wished life to remain as it was, they must work. And many did, for many seasons. The most told legends began to fade from cats' minds. But every cat still knew that they must work for their oasis. Soon, what would be the unthinkable before, began to happen. Cats began to drop their duties to StarClan, and quickly became vain. What was worse, they taught their kits to be that way, and the kits taught their friends.
And StarClan could not watch this continue. The Clans had broken their promise. They plucked kits out of the Nursery, where kits wait and play before being born, aging them, to send down as warriors with a sole mission - to get their apology, and a compensation. These warriors formed a new Clan - WatchedClan. But these cats were loyal to StarClan, perhaps too much so. They became even darker than SomberClan, and set out to kill the cats who disobeyed their ancestors.
Perhaps entrusting it to our young was not as a bright idea as we'd hoped it would be.

Manual This is the board that is considered the most important - the rulebook. It is marked with two subboards, Must-Reads and Optional Reads, and you may do as the names imply, but it is highly suggested you read both. Read all threads in the Must-Reads section or risk being punished. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
Clan Meetings This board, not only for announcing clan meetings and the like, is also the place where we will hold activity checks, and vote on site issues. It's a good idea to check this board and its' subboards weekly. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
Archives If you are looking for any old post, it will be found here. Any inappropriate topics or spam will also be kept here, but we ask that you do not post on this thread, if you are able, as the archives are for dead threads only. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
Watching Us This is the board for part one of the plot 'Demise', the part for which this site is titled, Watching Us. Inside, you can find a FAQ, character claimings, a timeline, and a sneak peek of the next part of the plot, The Return Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

Allegiances and Positions Here is where the complete Clan statistics will be kept, contrary to the high-position status in the header. This is updated weekly, but if you find yourself not on this list, or rather, your cat, after being accepted for a week, PM your leader, and if there is no response in two days, PM an admin, and they will add you. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
Decedents When your cats choose to ahve kits, you will PM either Salem or Flint with a request to have kits. If it is approved, they will post here with a post about your kits. You cannot choose how many kits you get, or what gender, color, etc. You may, however choose togeather what their names are, and who claims them. Please remember, you must have atleast two threads togeather to be elegable to have kits, and it your responsability to keep them active. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
Feline Tracker This is where you may store most-all of your roleplaying characters, but this is an option you may choose to refuse - it's just for organization. Should you have creatures of any other sort you roleplay [plot devices only!], they are not permitted to be stored here, ask Flynneh about the private board. Auction Den Should you wish to give up a character, here is the place. Members, at the end of each month, during a valid auction, may spend their Mousetails on a character of varying value, or a different kind of creature, or, perhaps even a prey account of your very own. Rules and a FAQ are enclosed, they must be read should you use this board. For more information on Mousetails, please see the Must-Reads section of the Manual. StormClan Camp It seems the lake once covered much more area than it did now, or there was flooding at some point in time, though not as far back in time as the cats would have thought. There is much driftwood scattered here, as well as throughout the territory. A camp Eeyore would have been proud of, it's fenced off by a fallen tree and moss that grows around it, and all the dens are made of sticks, nettles, or, for the most part, driftwood, as has been forementioned. The StormClanners have become oblivious to the snapping of twigs, but make sure not to trip! Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

StormClan Territory StormClan's slightly damp territory is ridden with bugs, which the apprentices dare eachother to eat on a saily basis. It isn't as gross as cats from other Clans would think, actually - when the prey runs poorly, they have something to eat, all the same! You can't go a pawstep without feeling the ground change under you, whether it is from grass to moss, moss to ground-up wood, wood to sand, and back to grass again. The StormClanners are so used to these changes, that they are capable of hunting during the night, without running the risk of injuring themselves.
TideClan Camp TideClan's Camp is like the rest of their territory, beautiful and ever changing. Their Camp is surrounded on all sides by river water deep enough, but shallow by TideClan standards. At the bottom of the river are manny shells and sparckling stones. Fish make their home here, but usually near the backside of camp, because most cats don't swim there. You must walk through confusing paths to get to TideClan's Cmap, keeping them fairly safe and protected. All of the sudden, you get to a dip in the ground, with hanging trees above it. TideClan's camp holds six dens, and be careful, don't step on the shells. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
TideClan's Territory TideClan's Terriotry is as diverse as it is beautiful. TideClan cats love their Clan, and will protect it with the fierceness of the strongest of currents. With the Greenleaf heat, TideClan cats barely feel it, because they can always take a dip in the pools or streams. TideClan's first leader, Salemstar I thought her terriotry was a sancuary. Since then, TideClan has worked hard to keep their territory beautiful. In Newleaf comes buds and blossoms sprouting all over the territory, but you have to be careful for the catfish, because when you try to bite them, they bite back! In Leaffall the water becomes colder, threatening to freeze, but it never does. Then, Leafbare comes, becoming the hardest season for TideClan cats. They survive every year though.
BreezeClan Camp BreezeClan Camp is usually inhabited bya vass amount of cats. Many Clan warriors speculate that the reason BreezeClan cats are so grumpy is beause they are always sweltering hot. It is true that BreezeClan cats are always hot. Their territory holds only one stream near the camp, and few trees, so they send many groups out to bring back watter ladden moss in the hot moons. BreezeClan camp was formed hundreds of moons ago when the boulders from a mountian fell, settling into caves. Because their were only four caves created, the warriors and apprentices share a cave, sleeping on oppisite sides, the leader further back in his own nook, away from the croud. Then, there is a smaller cave for a nursery, and two more for an Elder's den and Medicine Cat den. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

BreezeClan Territory BreezeClan territory is built for the small, lithe cats that inhabit it. Long plains, beating sun. This is the Clan that StormClan, TideClan, SomberClan feel most alienated in. There are rarely any trees, so BreezeClan cats must be as fast as the breeze that whips through their short, mottled fur. Where there are trees, many are barren and dead, an oppisite of BreezeClan's territory. BreezeClan's territory is best in Leaffall, because the sun always seems to fall on them, but they must hidrate themselves during Greenleaf, and many cats have fallen ill from the heat. The grass that sreatches through the territory is always green, even holding most of it's color through the cold seasons. BreezeClan cats just have to be carefu from stepping in old snake and rabbit sets.
SomberClan Camp SomberClan's camp, is, in all simplicity, a patch of brambles. When they first lived in the forest, during the time of Firestar, that was their camp, but this time, the brambles are closely entwined with a beech tree - no one really knows how it got there, most of the trees in SomberClan are pine. They, too, have had a fair share of flooding before they inhabited this forest, and so, they don't have a lot of driftwood, as the pine trees have just started growing, perhaps, in the past 50 years, but rather, mud. That is the sleeping ground for SomberClan cats - should they be wet, they use mud as a towel, they use it as a blanket, too. Luckily, they have an excellent cleaning routine, and they loom almost as sleek as the TideClan cats. And - you don't have to change the elders' bedding! It's a welcome change from the apprentices of all other Clans. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

SomberClan Territory SomberClan is aptly named, for their territory allows the minimum amount of light to enter, and none to exit. Some say it is a miracle they are not blinded when they go to a Gathering, the difference is so pronounced. The pine trees stretch over muddy land, and they have used the mud to their advantage when hunting - unless you bring your paws down in a puddle, you can step soundlessly, and since they are not the best of jumpers, they have also worked out a way to climb trees in the way which they hunt. They are very calibrated, which explains the down-to-the-wire way in which they move, and although ShadowClan was known for lumbering like badgers, SomberClan cats are known for their grace.
WatchedClan Camp Despite their personality, as you approach the barren and serene lands of the StarClan Lands, you'll know that the WatchedClan Camp will be comparable. The rock cleft that borders BreezeClan, which tapered off to small boulders around the other clans' borders, begins again with renued energy around WatchedClan's small strip of territory, taken from what was supposed to be the StarClan lands. They are like the Tribe of Rushing Water, living in caves, and, like the Highrock in the old forest, each den has a curtain of lichen to block out the noise of others across the camp. They seem to section themselves within the den, using smaller boulders pulled in front of their nests of, again, lichen, to create their own chambers, a privacy and luxury the regular Clan cats have not accquired. WatchedClan Territory A mirror image of StarClan terratory rests in the paws of WatchedClan cats. Maybe that's beacuse their territory was an extension of StarClan terratory for awhile. WatchedClan cats are in an aquard position because they are so large, and their territory small. WatchedClan resembles that of the Tribe of Rushing Water, with bolders, icy pools and dense forest regions. WatchedClan is very secretive, and their land is as icy as their hearts.
The Starlight The Starlight is located near the small strip of water that dosn't belong to TideClan. It is an old trout fishing boat that was abandoned a near 500 moons ago, but the cat's can't be sure. Half of the paint has chipped off, leaving it a blue and brown ugly blob. The loners have found that it makes a great shelter, and they have made the Starlight their home. Most Clan cats are old to keep their distance because of the rumors that their are devices that have been heard hurt cats. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

Mirth Pool The Mirth Pool holds many memories of all the Clans. This is where they spent their first night in their new territory, though no living cats remember that trail night. The loners that had lived here before the Clans came helped greatly, but only if they could keep their territory. The Mirth Pool was one of those places. The pool is the color of Ebony, and the black loners claim they evolved from the fish in the pool. Though this seems very strange, the Clan cats were grateful to the loners for 100 moons or so, untill the Clan cats started bad-talking them and dis-respecting them. The mirth pool is looked at as a source of hope for Clan cat's who feel that they are giving up. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

Salem Tree The Salem Tree was named after Salemstar's great great grandmother, who also carried the name Salemstar. Salemstar the 1st was greatly loved by the loners after sheltering them in a TideClan cave during the freeze when Starlight was filled with water and an inadequite shelter for them. So, after they returned to their treeitory, the Loners picked their most favorite tree, usually called 'The Black' and renamed it 'Salem Tree' in thanks for Slaemstar the 1st's kindness. It is speculated if Salemstar was in love with one of the loners, and that was why she distrubited kindness, but many belived she was just a naturally kind shecat. To this day, the beautiful tree still stands, and proves to be the most plentful place for prey in no-man's land. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed

Philosopher's Walk This is a sandy path, well beaten, and cats' pawprints digging into the relatively hard ground, on which the cats traveled the last 'leg of the race' on the way to the oasis they call home, now. Any unwelcome animal from their old territory, that took over after the sickness, would be able to find their way here if they put their miniscule brains to the task, and so if any cat ever ventures out of their territory, they are profusely warned about this bumpy path. Crater Dip This part of their journey was the most dangerous, and the longest strip. It is called Crater Dip, for the reason that various weasels have made their homes here, and a weasel bite, when infected, can be deadly. This sits behind Philosopher's Walk, but it is not out in the open, rather, in a pine-filled dryland similar to both Somber and BreezeClan's old territories, so they were given shelter after the cold concrete of the Sanctuary Courtyard. Sanctuary Courtyard When Twolegs extended the forest the Clan cats, under different names, used to live in, the apprentices-in-training were taught to be wary, as that was how the warriors were feeling. They paved this area with concrete, in places, and added benches to create a serene, weeping-willow-tree grove, where the prey wasn't afraid to hide, the Twolegs spoke in such hushed voices. But, as wary as they were, the Clan cats were forced to stay here - the only place the sickness hadn't touched - until StarClan began to guide them to their new home, paradise. This courtyard drops off into a sandlot, where construction was supposed to take place, but never did. Moderators: accidentallyFLINTEH«, xxSalemxx cursed
